For someone who has passed the age of 40 years who doesn't have any sign of prostate cancer, what are the things he can be doing to avoid or reduce the risk?

Once you are above 40 years as a man, the first means of prevention is regular health checks which should include checking for prostatic antigen. Then, the following may also help:

.Regular exercise
.Maintaining healthy weight
.Improvement in diet (balanced diets): avoid junk foods, reduce fat intake, eat fruits and vegetables (not overcooked), avoid frying meat excessively
.Avoid smoking
.Reduce alcohol intake
.Be sexually active
