For like two or three weeks now, my eyes have been itching me. I think it's more concentrated around the cornea of the eye. It's really making me uncomfortable because I can't mostly ignore roughening the eyes up to get a little bit of relief. I wouldn't say it is normal, because I can't remember having this experience in a long-while.

Initially, I thought it was just one of those minor conditions and that it will eventually stop. But it has not really stopped. What do you think could be the cause of the itchiness and what medical advice can you give to stop it.

Itchy eye is most probably due to allergy. You are possibly reacting to something in the environment since you weren't having such before now.

So, the first solution is to carefully study what is causing it. This can be by studying what you do that makes it get worse. It may be certain type of food or animal products such as poultry, dairy etc. Once this is done, then try to avoid this agent causing the allergy.

Then, to resolve the current itching, you may get anti-allergic eye drop, any of them, and apply for three to five days. If there is no response, please, see ophthalmologist.
